Manual Therapies

Manual therapies are physical treatments used by massage therapists, physical therapists,  chiropractors and osteopathic physicians to treat musculoskeletal pain and disability. These therapies use differing techniques to manipulate and release various muscles, joints and connective tissues. There are dozens of different types of manual therapy, but we have included just a small list below:

Myofascial & Clubfeet

We tried myofascial release with our daughter's clubfeet. And while it did have pretty impressive results, they were very temporary, and her feet quickly regressed. I do believe in this treatment and it's ability to help relieve pain and release tightness, but do not believe it is effective as a treatment for clubfeet.
